Payla is an Android app that splits your income into shares and lets you track income and spending. The app works fully offline. In short: Payla collects no data from you and sends no data off your device.
None. Payla has no accounts and does not ask for a name, e-mail address or phone number. The app contains no ads, analytics or tracking tools. The app does not hold the internet permission, so it cannot transmit data.
The income and expense entries you add, your shares, goals and settings are stored only on your own phone, in the app's private storage. Nobody, including the developer, can access this data. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Backup files and PDF or Excel reports are saved only when you ask, to the location you choose. Where those files are kept and who they are shared with is entirely under your control.
If Android's backup feature is turned on for your phone, the app's data may be included in the device backup in your Google account. That backup is managed by Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy; the developer of Payla cannot access it. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.
Notifications: requested only if you turn on the daily reminder or the backup reminder; notifications are generated on your device.
Screen lock (fingerprint, face, PIN): used only if you turn on the app lock. Verification is performed by Android; Payla never accesses your fingerprint or face data.
Because Payla collects no data from any user, it collects none from children.
If this policy changes, the current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
